I am Shreyas, co-founder of Golpo AI  - the world's best AI video generator for explainer videos. Golpo turns any document or prompt into a beautiful whiteboard-style explainer video. Raised $4.3M Seed in Oct'25 from Y Combinator, BNVT, Afore, Emergence Capital, and a few amazing VCs/Angels.

I have been a coterminal (parallel Master's and Bachelor's) student at Stanford, studying Computer Science, and the founder of Community AI, an organization that unleashes AI for social good. We help students to learn and build projects for the community and the environment using AI.

I am also a researcher at the Stanford Vision & Learning Lab (SVL) under Dr. Fei-Fei-Li, where I am building models for video captioning & building a foundation model for cardiology. In addition, I have built various projects to use AI to better the community & the environment, from a system for the early diagnosis & remote monitoring of Parkinson's Disease (PD) to an end-to-end AI work agent.

I will work at NVIDIA on enabling deep learning use cases on live video with seamless GPU integration. Previously, I worked at Harvard Medical School, where I worked on information bias in AI models built on EH data, at Box where I was a core team member in Box AI, and at the Data Mining Lab at UoFL where I worked on explainable AI.

In my spare time, I like playing cricket and golf and going on long walks.  Please reach out to me at shreyas.kar@stanford.edu!
